Summer Language Immersion Program: ARABIC

The AIC is launching an immersion experience for its students wanting to learn Modern Standard Arabic.  This is designed for students interested in traveling or working abroad, for conducting further research in Middle Eastern & Islamic history, for high school, college, and graduate students, as well as professionals in the fields of journalism, marketing & business, government, & education.

In addition to class time, students will participate in practical activities, such as Arabic Calligraphy, Journalism club, Theater, Film Screenings, Literature clubs, Qur’anic understanding, Music, and more.  There will also be led excursions where students will learn more about Arabic & Islamic cultures.  It is strongly encouraged that students live on campus at the AIC dormitory for the full immersion experience.  The learning that takes place outside of the classroom through the scheduled activities, which are all conducted in the Arabic language, serve as an integral part of the educational experience and is what makes the Arabic immersion program different from the Arabic intensive program.
Have fun while learning Arabic through this enjoyable summer language program!   This program is open to students ages 16 and up.  For more information, please contact AIC at 773.281.4700 or email info@aicusa.edu
