Join 7 guest speakers on a spiritual journey exploring Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ inner and outer beauty. From Friday night to Sunday, immerse yourself in the entire book of Imam Tirmidhi – Al-Shama’il al-Muhammadiyya: a book of 400 hadiths describing the Prophet ﷺ.
The conference begins Friday night with a free opening session and continues until Sunday, exploring the persona
of the Prophet: his family life, social interactions, physical appearance, worship, and final moments. By Sunday evening, students fall deeply in love with the Prophet – forever painting his portrait in their hearts. The conference contains 15 hours of lessons, interspersed with poetry and songs of love for the Prophet ﷺ. For a preview of the content and a recent conference schedule, click here
All 400 hadiths are presented on slides in Arabic and English. Commentary on hadiths contains spiritual and practical lessons for individuals, couples, and families. Between sessions, acclaimed spoken-word artist Baraka Blue and Syrian munshids Ibrahim & Mouaz Al-Nass will perform moving poetry of love for the Prophet. In Sunday’s final session, a formal ijaza is signed for each student: a traditional completion certificate that has been given to students of the book for 1,000 years since Imam Tirmidhi’s time.
Complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks are provided all weekend. Attendees can also register for lunches and a parallel children’s program (info below).
Friday, Nov 16: 7 PM – 10.30 PM CST
Saturday, Nov 17: 9 AM – 7 PM CST
Sunday, Nov 18: 9 AM – 5 PM CST*
*We aim to complete the book by 5 PM CST Sunday, followed by the special CMC celebration of the Prophet (info below).
On Sunday, after the 400-hadith book is completed, the conference will conclude with a special celebration at 5 PM. In collaboration with CMC, conference speakers will give their closing remarks and share short stories of the Prophet, interspersed between two hours of moving poetry and songs. This closing portion of the conference – entitled To Know Him is to Love Him – will be the perfect way to conclude the book and conference.
Children’s Parallel Program
Children will benefit from a parallel program exclusively designed for youth between 5-10 years old.
